Damascus and Chilhowie
5.24 Big Laurel was a little high around 850cfs. Only had a little time to fish before high school graduation. Frenchies and tan caddis were the ticket. Hooked a couple under an indicator rig but they came off in the surface current.
5.25 Chilhowie was about perfect. 120cfs and a slight tinge to the water. Had several small fish take a tan caddis dry or Frenchie dropper. Saw sulfurs and blue winged olives. Switched to Euro nymphing with Frenchie and evil olives and started cleaning up. Got a 20+ inch fish on a Frenchie.
